About the oil mill

The almazara Deortegas produces a superior quality organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, the result of a carefully crafted artisanal process. With an extremely low acidity (between 0.1% and 0.2%) and cold extraction, its EVOOs offer a unique sensory experience thanks to the richness of nuances and balance in each variety.

Deortegas works exclusively with olives from its own production, carefully cultivated in its olive groves. Among its varieties are Arbequina, Picual, Cornicabra, Hojiblanca, and Frantoio, as well as a delicately balanced blend combining them all. Each
olive is harvested at its perfect ripeness and transported in crates to the mill, where a pure juice is obtained at less than 27 °C.

The result is organic oils with green or golden tones, depending on the variety, with very defined organoleptic profiles. Deortegas conveys in every bottle the essence of the olive tree and respect for the land, offering a healthy, elegant, and sophisticated EVOO, ideal both for gourmet cooking lovers and for those seeking a natural and authentic product.

EVOO Features Cornicabra

The Cornicabra variety is the second most cultivated in Spain, just behind the Picual, which predominates in Castilla-La Mancha and, especially, in Toledo and Ciudad Real. Its name refers to the peculiar curved shape of the fruit, which resembles a goat's horn. It is a highly valued and demanded variety for its adaptability to the continental climate and its high oil yield.


The Cornicabra oil has a persistent flavor that gives it a very defined personality. It is medium-high fruity, with a good balance between bitterness and
spiciness, which makes it suitable for all types of palates. Its color ranges from golden green to intense yellow, and its stability makes it a
long-lasting oil, ideal to have at home.


The Cornicabra Extra Virgin Olive Oil is especially rich in antioxidants and oleic acid, and has an excellent proportion of phenolic compounds. It helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases and has anti-inflammatory properties. Consuming it regularly is a natural way to protect the body against cellular aging and oxidative stress.
