Oro del Desierto oil of the Lechín variety is an organic extra virgin olive oil of limited production. It is a variety native to the southeastern peninsular and difficult to find in the market since it is made from Lechín olives from Granada, characteristic of olive trees in Granada, Murcia, Almeria and Albacete. In this case, Oro del Desierto Lechín Oil is elaborated from olives coming from the farms "el vicario", "sierra bermeja" and "el cortijillo de las pencas", owned by its producers. Traditional plantations with olive trees between 80 and 250 years old.
The oil obtained from them is yellow and golden in color, clean filtered. The nose is medium-low fruity, with aromas of green olives and dried fruits, with hints of other fruits such as apricot in less intensity. In the mouth it is soft and fruity, very balanced, very pleasant memories of olives and fruits at medium ripeness. Its bitterness is almost null and the spiciness is almost nil, although somewhat more present.
