ThePicual variety is the most representative of extra virgin olive oil in Spain, covering more than 50% of the olive groves in our country, especially in the province of Jaén, although it is also very present in other areas of Andalusia such as Córdoba or Granada. Its name is due to the shape of its fruit, which ends in a small tip or “peak”.

Itscolor can range from bright green to golden, depending on the degree of ripeness of the olive and the time of harvest. It is an oil with great oxidative stability, which means that it keeps very well without losing its properties, aromas, or flavor over time. Its complex structure and powerful profile make it unmistakable.
